Hello I’m Carly the owner of Flossie & Boo. I took over an existing business (called Reloved) back in 2019 on the same day as I adopted my daughter!! I know mindblowing!!! Now my family was complete and I had a new business. I changed the name of the shop to Flossie & Boo after my two amazing children Bertie (aka Boo) and Florence (aka Flossie) and this is where the journey begins…..

I’ve always wanted my shop to be somewhere children love to come to and have a play and adults feel comfortable that children can be children here, sticky fingers and all. My children are often found in the shop playing ‘shopkeeper’, or helping packaging internet sales. They are the heart of the business, my chief product testers and inspiration.

In 2020 we moved into our new shop premises right in the heart of the market place in a beautiful town of Newark, Nottingham. Over the years we have expanded to stock both well-known brands and products made by smaller independent local businesses. All brands are carefully selected by myself (with the approval of F&B) to ensure they reach our high standards, ethical and sustainable concerns and inspire a child’s imagination.

We are a destination for parents, grandparents, carers and friends who want to find that truly wonderful gift, champion independents and if your shopping in the store have a chat and a coffee with me, the kettle is always on (psst…..ive also always got chocolate under my desk!)
